After graduating from Needham B. Broughton High School, she scored a recurring role in 2000 as Marcy Bender on the hit one-hour dramedy Dawson's Creek.

Now the young actress is returning to television screens but, unlike her former character, she will not be playing a cop with boy problems this time around but an intrepid crime reporter...with boy problems. Dollar has taken on the role of Cindy Thomas in the new ABC drama called Women's Murder Club.

Aubrey Dollar has landed one of the leads in ABC's drama pilot "Women's Murder Club," about four women working together to solve murder cases. Dollar will play one of them, a crime reporter.

Aubrey Dollar first entered the entertainment industry in 1993, but it is only now that the 27-year-old actress has gotten the opportunity to play a character her own age.  Dollar is appearing on ABC's new crime drama, Women's Murder Club, a show based on James Patterson best-selling novels about a group of women who use their expertise to solve murder cases. “It's the first time I've gotten to play a role my own age, which is kind of nice,” Dollar, whose previous television credits include the teen dramas Dawson's Creek and Point Pleasant, told The News & Observer.

She studied at Needham B. Broughton High School, where she was classmate of fellow actor Colin Fickes. She also went to prestigious Boston University.
