A spokesman for Anheuser-Busch described Boardwalk and Baseball as a concept that had had problems since its inception, adding that it had failed to make a profit in its three years of operation. Anheuser-Busch may sell the 135-acre site but intends to maintain the baseball stadium that is used for spring training by the Kansas City Royals. Boardwalk and Baseball. I loved riding the Florida Hurricane and the Zoomerang. Unfortunately it was bought by HBJ during a buying spree so they could avoid a hostile take over by their competitor.

Before the location was called Baseball City, there was another theme park on this site called Circus World. Baseball City was located just west of Orlando, FL off of Interstate 4.
